We are an interdisciplinary group that combines experimental physics and mechatronics to study interface dynamics and adhesion phenomena. By developing cutting-edge characterization techniques and novel force sensors, we aim to understand complex interface deformations and instabilities, fluid dynamics, adhesion, and stiction, thereby bridging theoretical insights with practical applications. Our innovative approach enhances our understanding of these critical topics and paves the way for advancements in biomedicine, soft robotics, smart sensors, and materials science.

Our group is located at the Otaniemi campus, and we belong to Aalto University, School of Science, Department of Physics, Finland.
